2012 Festa di Bacco from Afton Mountain Vineyards (Virginia). 40% Sangiovese, 15% Cab Franc, 15% Petit Verdot, 30% Merlot. Earthy nose, and still lots of fruit on the palate. 2018 William Hill Estate Winery Chardonnay (Central Coast, CA). Oaky nose, crisp fruitiness on the palate, followed by a buttery finish. A nice balance! Purchased on sale for $10.49 from Triangle Wine Co in Morrisville, NC.
