2017 Scarlet Path Old Vine Zinfandel (Lodi, CA)

2017 Scarlet Path Old Vine Zinfandel (Lodi, CA).

Black cherry, blackberry jam, and other dark fruit, followed by some cola and a bit of oak and spice.

Not bad for $7.99….purchased at an Aldi in Cary, NC.

Oh, and the label is actual velvet (or feels like it anyway). Gimmicky, but fun…I guess. -B
