Joint initiative of Diversity in Wine & Spirits and Wonder Women of Wine provides a powerful platform to highlight Exhibitors and Education partners committed to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
San Francisco, Calif. December 1, 2020- Be the Change Job Fair, a joint initiative between Diversity in Wine & Spirits, Wonder Women of Wine and other industry leaders, announced today the wine industry’s exhibitors and education partners in its inaugural virtual job fair promoting Diversity
and Inclusion. Be the Change seeks to provide tangible and real solutions for the need to create diversity and inclusion in the wine industry to help facilitate connections between employers and job seekers during this period of high unemployment rates. The initiative aims to submit legislation in 2021 to implement social change.

The virtual job fair will be held on December 2-3, in partnership with tech industry leaders Brazen and Force Brands. To kick off the job fair, there will be a roundtable discussion on Dec 2nd with wine industry leaders in a conversation about exploring, implementing, and embracing true diversity and inclusion for all. Featuring Susana Balbo, Stephanie Gallo, Dr. Hoby Wedler, Bobby Stuckey, Lia Jones and moderated by Philana Bouvier. Members of the press and trade can register for the roundtable discussion here. The job fair will take place Dec 3rd and is complimentary for all job seekers. The four-hour virtual recruitment event will host carefully vetted employers who are committed to DEI with space for up to 1,000 jobseekers and multiple job opportunities across the wine industry. Applicants will be able to upload their resume, chat with employers and network with other industry professionals, while exhibitors will receive candidate resumes and be able to post job openings.
