The Argentinian peso is the ONLY currency from a wine-producing country that is doing worse than the dollar.(Click on “view” — right-hand box — for the one-year chart.)

Hmmmm, the Aussie dollar wallops the U.S. dollar and their imports get expensive, go down. Evita’s currency tanks against the greenback and imports go up.

Not rocket science in a global economy.
