Lawsuits in San Joaquin County have forced Cosentino Signature Wines PLC’s (MCOZ.L) to scramble for new venues where it can continue winemaking and tasting room operations.
Multiple sources have confirmed that, after Cosentino hurriedly vacated its Lodi-area wineries, it placed its wine from there — and possibly some equipment — at other area wineries which offer custom-crush services including Weibel and Lodi Vintners.
It also moved its tasting room to a Lodi Vintners facility in Woodbridge once occupied by the now-bankrupt Jewel Wines (Global Wine Group.)
Wine Industry Insight contacted Cosentino Signature Wines PLC CEO Larry Soldinger for comment on this and previous articles. No response was received.
