Lipman Buys Tenn. Wine & Spirits – Distributor Consolidation Shaking Up State

A little more than a year after Warren Buffett shook up the wine and spirits distribution world by buying Tennessee’s largest distributor, the state’s second largest — Lipman Brothers, — has signed a deal to buy its smaller rival Tennessee Wine and Spirits (TWS).
