Hong Kong Tycoon Offers $40 Mil For Napa Valley Winery & Vineyard

Hong Kong investment and factoring company Goldin Financial Holdings (HKEX:530), said Wednesday in a public filing (available to Wine Executive News subscribers) that they were acquiring an as-yet-unidentified Napa Valley vineyard and winery for $40 million and that the deal was expected to close today.

The Goldin filing also stated that the “book value” of the entire deal is $14 million.
