Summer 2011 Sales Trend May Indicate Double-Dip Wine Recession

Wine sales for the summer of 2011 have been trending downward in both dollar and case volume. This is in stark contrast with the same periods over the summer of 2010 when sales — in both dollar and case volume — showed an upward trend as the economy began to improve.
