W.J. Deutsch, Michael McGill Close To Settling Secrets Lawsuit

Michael McGill, former president of the spirits division of W.J. Deutsch (WJD) may soon be free to assume a new post at Diageo, according to court records from the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.

McGill, who was hired by Deutsch on Feb. 14, 2001, resigned on Oct. 9, 2011. WJD sued him three days later, alleging violations of non-competition and confidentiality provisions in his employment contract.
