Duarte Appeals Rootstock Commission Decision

Duarte Nursery has filed a notice of appeal in its lawsuit against the California Grape Rootstock Improvement Commission (CGRIC). The notice of appeal was filed July 6.

The Sacramento County Superior Court dismissed Duarte’s case last month.

Duarte has been battling the CGRIC since it was created in 1996.

The case is so old, I included it in a chapter on winegrape research and phylloxera in my 1999 book, The Wrath of Grapes.
