Wine Accounting Merger: Moss Adams Combines With Rabanal & Smith

Santa Rosa, Calif. – July 23, 2012 — Wine country accounting firms Moss Adams of Santa Rosa and Rabanal & Smith of Napa will merge effective August 1.

Partners Jennifer Rabanal and Amy Smith have more than 33 years of combined experience serving the wine industry. Rabanal & Smith LLP, which has provided accounting, tax and business advisory services to the wine industry and Napa business community for more than nine years, was founded in response to the industry’s increased need for compliance services, such as audits, reviews and tax preparation performed by independent, knowledgeable professionals.

The two partners along with the rest of Rabanal & Smith’s employees will join Moss Adams, and the firm will add several more professionals to the Napa office in the coming months. In addition to a strong emphasis on the wine industry, the office will focus on clients in the hospitality, manufacturing, food and agriculture industries.
