Gallo Gets Taste Of Its Own (TM) Medicine

E. & J. Gallo Winery has become notorious for filing (or threaten to file ) trademark lawsuits in some of the most ludicrous cases:

• Nail Polish, shoes, salt and pepper shakers (Some external links in this old WII piece are no longer maintained by the original source).
• Pasta
• Pizza kits (from someone unfortunate enough to be born with the Gallo name)
• Paso Robles’ Twilight Cellars, known until October 15, 2010 as Thunderbolt Winery (Too similar to Gallo’s potent hobo misery wine, Thunderbird)
• Cheese (made by E. &. J’s brother)

But now, a real pit bull of a plaintiff has served Gallo with a dose of its own medicine.
