Did K-J Layoffs Violate State, Federal Notice Requirements?

Federal and state regulators are looking into the possibility that the recent mass layoffs at  Jackson Family Wines violated provisions of the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) requirements. The winery has reportedly axed 20 percent of its workforce.
