Aided By USDA Funding, Calif Wine Exports Continue Growth Despite 2014’s Stumble

Despite a stumble in 2014 exports, exports of California wines have continued to grow in volume, value and price per gallon.

As the chart below illustrates, wine exports from California have increased more than six-fold since the mid-1990s. Much of that success is due to the Market Access Program (MAP),  which is part of the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS).
