The 1001 Silverado Trail winery made infamous by Jeffry Hill’s various winemaking shenanigans has been sold to a Des Moines. IA, holding company.

 

 
Wine Industry Insight has learned that the facility will be the home of the AuburnJames Winery brand. That wine brand is currently owned, and being produced by, a custom crush facility in Livermore.m(NOTE: AuburnJames is spelled as one word on their web site)

 
Realtor Robyn Bentley of Wine Country Consultants represented the buyers. Maher Advisors advised the sellers.
