According to  Trefethen family Vineyards CEO Jon Ruel:

“Our vineyard has always been larger than what we need for our estate wine production. A small reduction in our total acreage will just allow greater focus on the grapes that we grow for ourselves.

“With the 3rd generation now actively involved in the business, the Trefethen family’s plan is to keep growing our own grapes, making fantastic wines and sharing them with our wonderful customers.   We are already looking forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary in 2018.”
