Terroir Appoints Fred Reno to Head U.S. Sales

NEWS RELEASE, Septemer 21, 2017

 

(NAPA, Calif) – Terroir CEO, Kevin McGee, announced this week that the
company has appointed Fred Reno as director of sales for the U.S.

 

Reno is a wine industry veteran, having worked in all three tiers of wine
sales since 1979. He started in retail in Washington, DC, then transitioned
to a brand manager and VP of sales and marketing at William Hill Winery in
1984 and Sonoma-Cutrer in 1988.

 

In 1995, Reno took over management of The Henry Wine Group and transformed
it from a struggling wine distribution company to the “Best Wine Wholesaler
in America” in 2008, according to the Menninger Report.

 

Reno also spent time at Jackson Family Wines as executive VP for strategic
projects starting in 2010. He headed up innovation and brand development
functions and founded and directed the West Burgundy Wine Group division.

 

Reno will manage sales team of seven regional managers and a national
distribution portfolio in all 50 states. He will report directly to CEO
Kevin McGee.
