Experts and Grapegrowers Gather for the 10th Organic Winegrowing Conference at Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery

NAPA, CA (July 12, 2018) – On July 26, 2018 the Napa Valley Grapegrowers (NVG) will host the highly anticipated, 10TH biennial Organic Winegrowing Conference at Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery. Known throughout the industry for its in-depth look at organic grapegrowing, attendees have the opportunity to: explore three distinctive Napa Valley vineyards; speak first-hand with top leaders and visionaries; and learn practical hands-on information focused on how to farm organically, and sustainably.

The NVG is proud to announce that this year’s keynote address will be delivered by Grant Lundberg, CEO of Lundberg Family Farms, a third-generation organic farm that produces wholesome rice and quinoa products and is the top grower and marketer in its channel. After Mr. Lundberg’s presentation, attendees will break into smaller groups and be given the unique opportunity to tour three select Napa Valley vineyard sites discussing a wide range of organic and sustainable farming practices. Topics and vineyard sites include:

CADE ESTATE – Marketing Organic and Hillside Farming

The only event of its kind in the country, the Organic Winegrowing Conference offers valuable networking opportunities and unique insight that can lead to improved wine quality and sustainable vineyard practices. It also brings together some of the most respected voices in organic farming and industry names synonymous with pioneering organic winegrowing.

While the content is geared towards the organic grower, the topics and speakers have broad applicability for all vineyard owners and managers.

This year’s conference will conclude with a special wine reception at Spottswoode. Program attendance can be confirmed here and based on the popularity of this event, early registration is highly recommended as it does sell out.

Admission is $200 for NVG members and $300 for General Admission.
