St. Francis Winery & Vineyards Announces Acquisition of Russian River Valley Vineyard

–NEWS RELEASE–
SANTA ROSA, CA (October 30, 2018) – St. Francis Winery & Vineyards is pleased to announce the acquisition of an 80 acre vineyard in the northeast region of the famed Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County.

The vineyard, known as River East, is currently planted to Chardonnay. Located near Eastside Road in the Russian River Valley, the site is well suited to growing premium quality fruit and will be replanted to additional varieties keeping with the company’s sustainable farming and detailed vineyard management practices.

River East joins three other estate vineyards for St. Francis Winery; one other in Russian River Valley and two in Sonoma Valley. The estate vineyards, combined with fruit sourced from long-standing grower relationships throughout Sonoma County, support St. Francis Winery’s Sonoma County, Artisan Collection and Reserve wine programs.
“This acquisition will assist in further solidifying the platform for our future growth opportunities. We look forward to continuing to invest in Sonoma County,” stated Rick Bonitati, President & CEO at St. Francis Winery & Vineyards.

Zepponi & Company served as the exclusive financial advisor to Silverado Investment Management Company (SIMCO) on the transaction.
