Lapis Luna Wines Partners with J&L and Phenix for California Distribution

(SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.) — Lapis Luna, the recently acquired 20 year old
wine brand, announced distributor partnerships with J&L Wines on
California’s Central Coast and Phenix Distributing in the balance of the
State. “Both houses are a rare model: fine wine portfolios that can also
build brands through storytelling,” said Lapis Luna partner Drew Stapp.

The Lapis Luna wine brand was redesigned in July, 2018. The new package
features a unique label based on a 400-year old copperplate engraving
showing a faceless hero reaching for the moon. “I’ve never seen a
rebranding quite like this,” said Lorraine Alban, President of J&L
Distributing, “we see great potential in the new Lapis Luna.” Andrea
Skillicorn, President of Phenix Distributing agreed, saying “we’re excited
to partner with Lapis Luna. It’s a unique brand vision and great
opportunity for growth.”

Lapis Luna Sauvignon Blanc (North Coast), Red Blend (North Coast) and
Cabernet (Lodi) are available for suggested retail $14.99. Partner Stapp
says Lapis Luna inspires consumers drinking $10 wines to trade up, “to reach
for the moon.”
