NAPA, CALIFORNIA, DECEMBER 2018. The Emetry team is excited to welcome digital marketing and e-commerce expert Scott Moss to the team as VP of Direct to Consumer (DtC). Scott will lead the DtC strategy as Emetry sets a new standard for applying wine data sources and provides wine brands unique and exclusive insights fundamental to their future success.

Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and over 15 years of wine industry DtC management experience to the Emetry team. As a leader in the advancement of wine technology and customer experience, Scott has been focusing on using data to enhance consumer insights to help wine brands better understand consumer behavior and improve customer communications.

Under Scott’s leadership, Emetry will add DtC insights to their brand & consumer insights software in January 2019. The addition of DtC insights to their SaaS software adds unparalleled data management, analysis, and activation opportunities across multiple channels, specifically designed to support wine marketers. “We are building a world-class team, and Scott represents our commitment to bring in the best as one of the world’s leading DTC experts. The combination of his vast DTC experience with his technology aptitude make him the perfect leader for our DtC division,” said Paul Mabray, CEO of Emetry.

Most recently Scott managed DtC digital marketing, e-commerce and operations for Vintage Wine Estates, overseeing and integrating over 25 brand acquisitions. Before Vintage Wine Estates Scott led e-commerce and digital marketing for Constellation Brands and Treasury Wine Estates, refining and developing tools to quickly identify trends and translate them into marketing strategy, improving the customer user experience and converting data and metrics to drive sales. He earned a Bachelors in Mass Communication and Advertising from California State University, Hayward and is completing his certification in digital marketing analytics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
